American Football return with their long awaited sophomore full length! After disbanding following the release of their sole full-length (1999's self-titled debut), the Illinois-based band has reunited for a second self-titled effort some 17 years after the fact. The band originally came back together to tour in 2014, which lead to the realization that "the time was ripe for three middle aged dudes to play some old songs about teenage feelings, and stand around tuning guitars for a long time." In early 2016, the band began recording their second album with producer Jason Cupp, along with guitarist/vocalist Mike Kinsella's cousin Nate on bass. 9 tracks in all including "I've Been So Lost For So Long," "Desire Gets In The Way," and "Give Me The Gun." Limited indie exclusive colored pressing on red & orange starburst vinyl with printed inner sleeve featuring lyrics to the songs.
