"Soundtrack for reflection and meditation" is how BadBadNotGood describes its contribution to the excellent Late Night Tales series, which has hosted artists like Air, Belle and Sebastian, Four Tet, Nightmares on Wax, and Olafur Arnalds in the past. The Toronto quartet first got noticed reinterpreting hip-hop tunes w/ jazz sensibilities, and the band's selections include "amazing music" that each member has "gotten to experience by touring and meeting new people." BBNG also adds that the artists represented on the compilation "have influenced" the group to "create" and helped in keeping their "deep love of music alive."
