Kaleidescopic Aussie band's debut album, widely available on vinyl for the first time ever. Hiatus Kaiyote's 2012 full-length takes cues from jazz, soul, hip hop, funk + more and primed them for the breakthrough success they would later achieve with 2015's Choose Your Weapon. There's no shortage of impressive moments, with tracks like "Mobius Streak," "Leap Frog," "Sphynx Gate" and "Nakamarra" providing a wide range of undeniable grooves informed equally by broken beat, Los Angeles' beat scene (the album was destined to be reissued by Brainfeeder) and the dusty Australian desert they launched from. This expanded reissue includes a bonus 7-inch with a remix of "Nakamarra" featuring Q-Tip (!!) and a remix of "Boom Child" by Clever Austin.
