Sophomore full length from Brooklyn's own Holy Ghost on double pink vinyl! Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel have had their fair share of indie dance hits over the past 5 years (right from the get go, their debut single "Hold On" was huge), and as time progressed, so did the depth and complexity of their sound. Dynamics comes just two years after their eponymous debut album and finds the HG! still expanding and evolving, while staying firmly rooted on dancefloor. It's obvious after listening to any of the cuts here that their skill in the studio are sharp as ever, but what's even more impressive is their consistent ability to pump out the jams. From emotive, 80's-tinged tunes like "Okay," "Changing Of The Guard," "Cheap Shots," and "Must Be The Weather," to disco-fueled DFA-style cuts like "Dance A Little Closer" and "Bridge And Tunnel," it's clear these dudes know how to make you dance like no one's looking. 11 tracks, housed in glossy gatefold sleeve.
