Paris Texas: Boy Anonymous (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP - Turntable Lab Exclusive

Boy Anonymous is the 2021 debut mini-album from Cali hip hop 2-piece Paris Texas (not to be confused with the midwest emo band!). Louie Pastel and Felix are rappers at their core, but over the course of Boy Anonymous' concise but exciting 22 minutes, the duo gradually fold in an array of exciting musical ingredients like they picked them up from the swap meet on the way home. "Casino" is the perfect drip-core (their term!) starter, "Situations" almost sounds like it could be one of The Cure's experiments from The Top; "Area Code" is exactly what Yachty was trying to do on his last one but with (IMO) better results. Try to resist the charm of "A Quick Death." Finally on vinyl in a TTL exclusive edition of 300, recommended!
