Portugal's Social Disco Club done did it again with the second installment of the H.O.T. Gold edits. The first time around he gave "Funky Town" an acid facelift, and now he goes for the jugular with an monster edit of Eddie Johns "More Spell On You," better known as the sample source of Daft Punk's "One More Time." There's no denying the power Daft Punk's "One More Time" has on any kind of party, and here SDC recreates parts of the track trough simple edit techniques as "Daft Funk." It's the perfect hyping tool to drive the crowd wild at peaktime with build up after build up and those huge drum breaks. It can also be quite a tease, especially if you never drop the Daft version! Flipside features "Wild Bunch," an super-funky bass driven disco groove, edited from Instant Funk's "Body Shine." Recommended!
